This website is a fantastic resource for all educators working to embed equity in their language arts program. The website has modeled lessons and resources for teachers to reflect and think critically about the resources they are using in their classrooms. There are accessible frameworks, prompts and ideas shared which teachers can use to bring meaningful discussions to their students that center on diverse and dynamic lived experiences.
World Wildlife Fund Canada
Canadian students and educators can take hands-on action to help protect nature. Living Planet @ School creates a continuous journey for students to connect with actions that help protect nature and the environment throughout their academic path. They focus on the experience of taking action, supporting students with action-oriented toolkits throughout the year and the opportunity to devise their own projects with funding from WWF-Canada.

Heritage Minutes are dramatic interpretations of pivotal events in Canada’s history. These 60-second vignettes commemorate notable Canadians, achievements in innovation, and instances of perseverance and bravery. They are intended to entertain, educate and encourage further research into our nation’s past. Heritage Minutes were created by The CRB Foundation in 1991 and re-launched by Historica Canada in 2012.
