This document is one of the curriculum-specific companion guides to the Guide to Effective Instruction in Mathematics, Kindergarten to Grade 6, published by the Ministry of Education. The curriculum companion guides are aimed at assisting teachers in helping students to achieve the curriculum expectations. Each volume focuses on the big ideas in a particular strand.
